About Adam Donahoo
Adam has been involved in the sport of Skeleton for the past 5 years. After attending the Skeleton event at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah (his hometown), he simply had to try the sport. Adam attended a screening camp the following fall at the Utah Olympic Park and was selected to participate in the National Development Program.
 After working his way up through the ranks of the development program for two years he qualified for one of 12 spots on the US National Skeleton Team in 2005/2006 season.
In 2005/2006 season Adam competed on the America's Cup Circuit finishing 7th overall and was one of the youngest competitors in the field at 18 years of age. Adam also qualified for and represented the USA at the Junior World Championships in Igls, Austria.
In addition to his passion for Skeleton, Adam is currently a freshman at Westminster College in Salt Lake City. Prior to entering Westminster Adam graduated with honors from Juan Diego High School.
While in high school, Adam earned numerous awards, founded the first Juan Diego Table Tennis Club (serving as its President) and after helping Juan Diego win the State Knowledge Bowl, Adam competed nationally at the High School Academic Quiz Tournament in Chicago.
Adam loves the outdoors and is an eagle scout, avid climber and recreational cyclist. In addition to climbing for fun it is also part of his job as a rock climbing instructor at the Treehouse Athletic Club in Sandy, Utah.
Adam lives in Salt Lake City while attending school and has two brothers and a sister also in Utah.
